Q4 2019 Podcast Events

Author: Dayana Preval

Who would've ever thought that the age of radio would turn into millions of people tuning into podcasting daily? To those who currently listen to podcasts or have their podcast can resonate. It feels like one day there was only a few and there is a podcast about everything. As a podcaster, it can feel intimidating and lonely because while podcasting is expanding it's still so new in technology. To the creatives who want to be around podcasters here are some events happening for the remainder of 2019.

Werk it 2019

Werk it 2019 is a podcast festival taking October 3rd-4th at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. This festival is dedicated to all podcasters at every level. The goal is to pitch, join a community of creatives, and create content.

She Podcast Live

She Podcast Live is taking place October 11-13th in Atlanta, Georgia. This conference is dedicated to women of all diverse backgrounds. Wherever you're at in your creative journey, She Podcast is here to help! There will be sessions addressing work-life balance, confidence, social media management, ways to make money, self-care, and more. Here's a bonus: there will also be 1:1 consultation for personal questions.

DC Podfest

The DC Podfest takes place in Washington D.C. on November 1-2, 2019. This fall festival takes place every year to bring network and share their love for podcasting. There will be workshops, speakers, and even live shows to attend!

Don't miss out these great events before the year ends! I find that attending festivals allows creatives to explore outside of their comfort level and helps with goal setting. By being able to connect with other podcasters who are in a different part of their journey it can aid some motivation to push past fear, build relationships, and learn some new tips outside of using Google. While festivals can be overwhelming it can also be beneficial to your creative process. Take the first step and leap!
